With mountain bike skills courses and guided rides, suitable for all the family, for beginners through to experienced riders, Cycle Yorkshire, under the careful guidance of Iain Johnson, would like to introduce you to the hidden pleasures and delights that mountain biking in Yorkshire can uncover.

Courses include women only skills days, family skills days, guided tours for all abilities, as well as corporate building days, taster sessions for schools and youth clubs and much, much more.

M.I.A.S.[Mountain bike Instructors Award Scheme]Levels 1/2 leadership courses come to Yorkshire
Ideal for Teachers, Youth club & Scout leaders or Cycle clubs who wish to carry out their own MTB activates.
These Two day courses start on May 23rd & 24th held at Baildon Recreation centre [Places available].

Next GPS course is held at Osmotherley YHA,North Yorkshire, on the 27th & 28th of June 09. GPS / NAVIGATION,: covering map and compass and using GPS units and digital mapping software
in association with GARMIN and MEMORY-MAP.
If you have a GPS unit and a laptop by all means bring them with you, everyone will receive a 30 day free trial of memory map, either on cd or loaded onto your laptop.

First Aid courses.

MTBCY have teamed up with First Aid Academy which is run by Cory Jone to deliver Outdoor First Aid training for professional and leisure mountain bikers. The Academy runs open courses across the country or can come to you if you have a group or club requiring training.
Would you like to know what to do if your mate falls of their bike and injures themselves or have you just qualified as a MTB Leader and require a first aid certificate?
Course covers the requirements of the Mountain-bike Instructor Award (MIAS).

Three new Two day Guide Rides with a difference, a Micro-Brewery Tour and traditional Beer tasting.
